The Role: Director, Marketing and Communications, Canadian Film Centre and Worldwide Short Film Festival (WSFF), Toronto (1999-2003).
Founded by Academy-award winning filmmaker Norman Jewison, CFC offers training and production for film, television and new media projects. In 2001, CFC acquired the Worldwide Short Film Festival. The ad campaigns won Cannes Lion and Clio awards (creative by Taxi Advertising). It grew into one of the largest short film festivals in North America.
Key achievement: Director of the Festival marketing team, with 20 per cent growth each year for three years.
